In this context, we note the need to consider that sealing performance is not solely dependent on the product itself but also on various additional factors in the tribological system (including temperature curves, pressure gradients, shaft processing, tolerances, interactions with media / additives). These and other factors influence the sealing capacity of the product, meaning the operator must independently test and approve the seal used in an application. We specifically recommend consulting a sealing specialist for critical applications.
